By enabling multipliers to share information and increase turnout in local elections, this project aimed to strengthen democratic participation and civic engagement within the community.
Afterwards
EFID organized an event at the Center Prince Henri in Walferdange. The event consisted of a comprehensive presentation of the elections based on information provided by the campaign website. After the presentation, a question-and-answer session was organized with simultaneous translation in 4 languages including Arabic, Farsi, Tigrinya and English.
Community interpreters were present until the end of the session

The event. The presentation and Q&A session covered the following: The role of the municipality. Who can vote? How does voting work? How to register? Why is it important to vote? How does this campaign support integration efforts?
At the end of the workshop, participants received brochures about the campaign. EFID will also display the roll-up and share information about the campaign with visitors to its offices in the weeks leading up to the elections.
